Before
Before we started the system enhancement, the process of adding products to the system was very long and cumbersome. General information, prices, shipping, and other product details were spread across multiple pages, making it a long and exhausting process.
Each menu button opened a lengthy and arduous form, making the process of adding a product long and exhausting.
After
The addition and editing of products have been consolidated into a single, responsive page that is user-friendly on both mobile and desktop devices. Unnecessary fields have been removed, and "advanced" fields are displayed only upon request, while the product page includes a summary that represents all the important information, with quick access for editing.
An e-commerce platform selling personalized products entails a complex system design that allows customization of each product.
The system includes features like design options, pricing, secure payments, inventory, order tracking, and customer management.
The main UX challenge was designing a complex multi functionality system as a clear and easy to use site, that delivers a tailored shopping experiences.
